2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship to Feature Junior Golf Day

CHASKA, MN (Jun. 2, 2026) — As part of the PGA of America’s continued commitment to growing the game and creating opportunities for young players, the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will host Junior Golf Day on Saturday, June 27, at Hazeltine National Golf Club. Kids ages 15 and under will receive free grounds access on Junior Golf Day, and every day of the Championship, when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

KPMG junior golf day 2Junior golfers and families from across the region are invited to attend a day dedicated to youth participation in golf while experiencing a Major Championship at one of the sport’s finest venues. In collaboration with PGA Jr. League, the Minnesota PGA Section, Minnesota Golf Association, First Tee of Minnesota, and LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, Junior Golf Day will provide young attendees with the opportunity to watch the world’s best players compete while participating in family-friendly activities designed to inspire the next generation of golfers.

“Junior Golf Day reflects the Championship’s ongoing mission to inspire participation and access for young golfers within local communities and beyond,” said Laura Frick, Championship Director. “This is an amazing opportunity for kids of all ages to learn about the game, watch the best players in the world compete and have a fun day with their family at one of the premier events in women’s golf.”

Junior Golf Day activities will start with a special activation from 7:30 to 11 a.m., featuring giveaways, a temporary golf tattoo station and individual photos with the Championship trophy. Participants who wear their PGA Jr. League jerseys will receive a VIP gift.

LPGA*USGA Girls Golf will then host a junior golf clinic from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. for the first 100 kids who register through the Junior Golf Day website. No golf experience is necessary to participate.

Founded in 1955, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is a major-championship collaboration between the PGA of America, LPGA, and KPMG. Broadcast in partnership with NBC and Golf Channel, the Championship offers a purse among the highest in women’s golf. In 2026, the 72nd edition of the event will return to Hazeltine National Golf Club, marking the fifth PGA of America championship contested at Hazeltine.
